I managed to go to the gym on Saturday. It was the first time in a long time that I got myself to the gym on a weekend. It was interesting to see the different mix of people.
I plan on steping up my game this week. I've been in a slump and I want to be under 145 by the new year.
I wonder how all those people manage to motivate themselves to get to the gym on the weekend. I could use some of that.
Any ideas?

Try keeping me away! I love going to the gym on the weekend, maybe try reframing it as Me Time rather than a chore?
TA x
hmmm Im not the one to ask either as my husband and I go for the free daycare :) 40 minutes of us time SANS TODDLER.
I go grudgingly--would rather be outdoors, but need to do weights and that's where they live... at least until I get a home gym set-up of some sort.
For me, I allow myself an extra cup of coffee on gym days. Cheaty, but it works.
TA - I'm trying I'm trying, but that pesky "obligation" thought keeps getting in my way ^_^
Carla - That sounds like a *Great* motivator ^_^
Crabby - Hmmm....perhaps I could bribe myself with Mocha's!
@Meg - No - don't start the mochas! That would defeat the purpose.
I workout at home now, but when I used to workout at a gym, I love going on the weekends. Less people, the atmosphere is much more relax. I would take one or two classes. After 3 weekends, you become one of the "regulars" in the class. It's is great motivation once you start to make friends in these classes.
